Leaving a Legacy

As Dr. A.B. Simpson, the founder of Nyack College, was nearing the end of his long and illustrious ministry life, we know that he transferred much of his assets back to the Christian and Missionary Alliance. By 1919, he had relinquished control of the Alliance Press and Christian Publications, which to this day continue to produce quality Christian literature. A.B. Simpson understood that everything he had belonged to God, so he made sure that any treasure he had accumulated on earth would be used for God’s Kingdom for years to come. In this way, and in so many other ways, A.B. Simpson left a legacy that continues to touch the lives of countless people and generations.

How will you be remembered? We all have the opportunity to leave a legacy, but we must act intentionally while we are here serving our Lord and Savior. Nyack College has begun the A.B. Simpson Legacy Society to help our alumni and friends maximize their potential to continue influencing the advancement of God’s Kingdom beyond their years on earth. By becoming a member of the Legacy Society, you will be part of a distinct group of alumni and friends who will leave a lasting imprint on Nyack College for generations to come.

How Do I Become a Member of the A.B. Simpson Legacy Society?

By including Nyack College in your will or other planned gift, you are automatically enrolled in the Society. Our gift planning specialists can show you ways to leave a perpetual legacy through student scholarships, departmental support, or through an unrestricted gift that would help the college with general or capital expenses. We would appreciate the opportunity to help you plan your legacy. First and foremost, our specialists will ensure that you have adequately cared for your loved ones before you make any other commitment to the ministries God has place on your heart to support.
